Welcome to Grateful Gatherings!

We're honored to work with you to help families turn their houses into homes. At Grateful Gatherings, we aim to create safe, fully furnished, beautiful spaces for those transitioning from homelessness or crisis. This work gives families dignity, relief, and hope—and we couldn't do it without your partnership.

Here's how you can help us make this process as smooth and successful as possible:
1. Vetting Clients
• Please only refer families who have already moved into their space and are ready to sustain it emotionally and financially.
• We trust you to assess if a client is prepared for this next chapter.
2. Communication
• Communication is critical! Once we start working with a family, it's about a 4-6 week process, and we need prompt, reliable communication with them.
• If there are issues, we'll count on you to step in and assist.
3. Photo Releases and ROI
• Clients should know that we'll ask for "before" and "after" photos of their home.
• We'd also love to include photos of them if they're comfortable.
• Please have clients sign a photo release at the time of application to simplify things and ROI. Let us know if photos may be sensitive.
4. Ongoing Support
• We may need your help managing logistics or unexpected challenges during the process.
• This could include assisting clients in clearing spaces or preparing for the big day.
5. Full Gathering Client Fit
• A perfect household for us has little to no furniture and needs the basics to transform its space into a home.
• Families should also be available on Gathering Day to meet volunteers, step away while we set up, and return for the big reveal.
6. Mini Gathering Households
• For more minor needs (e.g., single clients, partial furniture), we can help directly from our warehouse without a full Gathering Day.
• These clients still need to communicate promptly, be present for deliveries and have clear spaces to receive the items.

Your role is crucial to transforming empty spaces into homes filled with comfort, security, and hope. Thank you for partnering with us to make a difference!



We look forward to serving as many of your families and individuals as possible. Please remember - though we do our best - there is no guarantee when and if we will get to your family. We will reach out to them when we are ready to help. Please advise your client that the quicker they get back to us when we reach out, the more likely we will be able to proceed and provide for their needs. In the top section, you will be filling out on behalf of your client, and then following your client's information, you will be filling out the information about your agency. Please note that it is also essential to fill out the third section, which is information about each family member; this helps us better customize our help for each family member.
